Here are some pictures from our members show-n-tell. I didn’t get pics of everyone’s work. Sorry about that. And, what a job taking pictures of moving quilts in low light! (so there is some blur). Thanks to all who participated!
These last ones are charity quilts. Talking about taking giving to new heights! 
2018 April 23 Meeting Pictures

Barbara Freeland designed a white tree with a cross backing for an ill friend . Mary Nienhuis used an Aztec design for a wedding quilt while Marie Yutendale finished 2 quilts in Florida. Nora Slikkers showed her colorful scrap quilt and Barb Sucher used Sue Cortese ‘s method of piecing to design a baby quilt.
Our demo night was an inspiration to all of us to try new techniques and not throw out pieces of fabric – just give them to Nora as she will turn the scraps into art! There was a lovely charity quilt also displayed. Be inspired and Quilt!!!
Barb Sucher- using a flange as a method of edging and decoration. Carol Vinnedge demonstrates the use of a flat facing binding used on the quilt back – technique by Carol Taylor. We all learned so many new ideas and techniques!!
Betty Kovach and Kris Kennedy both displayed their work. Kris made a mondo bag along with 2 quilts.
Show and tell followed the demos with Barb Schippa first then Barb Mezeske’s work.

Big Red Quilt Guild’s Demo night- first Nora Slikkers showed her scrappy quilts using bits and pieces of scrap fabrics.
