My Complements to One Color!

* Choose a focus color to feature in your quilt.
* You may combine it with any neutrals you like.
* Include a bit of your focus color’s complement somewhere in your quilt top.
* In choosing your complement, you may use the RYB (red, yellow, blue) color wheel
combinations of red/green, yellow/purple, or blue/orange typically used by artists, or
play with the RGB (red, green, blue) color wheel on canva.com to choose colors that
play well together.
* If you would like your quilt to be considered for an Ultimate Guild Challenge grouping
to be entered in the Grand Rapids AQS show in August of 2026, its dimensions must be
40” x 40”. To meet the AQS registration deadline, you will need to bring your finished
quilt to the February 2026 guild meeting or make special arrangements with Barb B.
* You may choose to make a table runner, table topper, wall, lap or bed quilt of any size
if you prefer.
