This was the 2018 Challenge.
Our quilts made it into the 2018 August AQS show!! Be sure to attend the show to support AQS and our guild! Here are the exciting Challenge Quilts, shown in no particular order.
Ultimate Guild Challenge Rules
- Participants must be members of Big Red Quilters’ Guild
- Theme: Blooming Butterflies
- Required Size: 36” x 36”
- Must be 3 layers and hand or machine quilted
- Any technique is acceptable
- Must use some of the provided green batik fabric somewhere on the front of your quilt, available beginning at the February 2017 guild meeting for $5 entrance fee
- Make check payable to BRQG for entrance fee of $5.
- Each individual can stitch or quilt on only one challenge quilt for one guild.
- Quilts will be due at the February 2018 guild meeting. The guild will vote for the best 8 quilts to enter in the Grand Rapids AQS Show in August 2018.
