The 2018 Silent Auction and Gift Boutique/September Sew-in is coming up on
September 24 from 6:30-8:00 pm. Auction Bids will close at 7:15 pm so you will want to be on time to check out all of the goodies! It will be held in the Great Room, not the lodge! For the Sew-in, it would be helpful for you to bring hand sewing, as we expect that most of the tables will be needed for the boutique!
Please invite your friends and relatives to begin their Christmas Shopping at this Guild Fundraiser. The evening is free for members and guests alike, AND there will be refreshments, with door prizes given every 15 minutes. It doesn’t get much better than that!
What will be for sale? So far we have quite a list – from hand painted
wineglasses,to a Fustini basket, original pincushions, seasonal wall hangings, hand stamped or photo greeting cards, an Italian Dinner for 4, Special Occasion Carrot Cake, and that’s just a few of the items being donated. As of today, I have heard from almost 20 members regarding donations. When you have decided on your donation, please email Betsy Muir with your name and your boutique item(s), and/or auction items. If you have questions, email her those, too! (email@example.com) Donated items will need to be dropped off on the afternoon of the event(starting at 1pm), or given to Betsy prior to the 24th.
Let’s make this an enjoyable evening for our Guests and ourselves, and a
profitable night for our Guild! Think outside of the box for the silent
auction…themed baskets, giftcards, tickets to any event, and larger homemade
items will be sure to bring out the bids! Share some of your creative talents as a
maker with gifts for the boutique! Remember, 100% of the profits will go to our
speaker/workshop fund for 2019! In order to continue to provide quality
teachers, we need to raise some FUNDS, so let’s have FUN doing it! This will be an evening you won’t want to miss! Join us!
