If you have some extra fabric or would like to make a donations to help other quilters here is an option suggested by a member: “Our quilting guild friends in Santa Rosa California have lost their fabric supplies in the recent fires. Big Red Quilters' Guild 
We better check with the Santa Rosa Quilt Guild on the fat quarters. Their website says they are being overwhelmed with donations. We may want to look into this a little more. I was all ready to send some fat quarters from my stash and thought I better check.
If you want to make a post card at the November 27 meeting, most of your supplies will be there for you, but please bring the following items: scissors; glue stick; a small rotary cutter, mat and ruler; and any already fused scraps you have to share. If you have a small travel iron and mat , please bring that too. I will have parchment paper to protect your ironing surface and fabric softener sheets to correct any whoops on your iron. These postcards are only 4″X6″ so you do not need big tools and you can certainly share with a friend. You will have a few options of postcards to make or you may “do your own thing”. Your finished postcard can be mailed anywhere in the world that has mail service.
